Day by day
Kigali City Tour
Morning visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, followed by a tour of the city's markets and contemporary art spaces. Afternoon transfer north to Volcanoes National Park.
Gorilla Trekking Day
Trek into the forest with ranger guides to spend one hour with a habituated mountain gorilla family.
Volcanoes NP → Lake Kivu
Scenic drive south through Rwanda's Thousand Hills to Lake Kivu. Afternoon boat excursion on the lake.
Lake Kivu → Nyungwe Forest
